We once again packed up and hopped on an airplane as a family to head down to the nation’s capital and visit some of our favorite people. 3 BC biddies and 1 London flatmate have all ended up in DC which makes visits easy and always too short! We spent most of the time just catching up but also was able to squeeze in a walk to the White House.
Maggie started the trip in good spirits – unfortunately she still hasn’t figured out she doesn’t get her own seat on a plane! (we’re taking advantage of that as long as possible!!)
We arrived at Seth’s where we were house/dog sitting – Maggie and Isla quickly checked each other out…
And became fast friends!
Sunday was spent hanging with the Blaisdell twins (who were born July 10) in Virginia – ticking another state off the list for Maggie!
Katie even got some practice in…such a natural!
Finally on Monday we had a chance to do some sightseeing – we may or may not be pushing our political leanings onto our 6 month old…
Then it was back to the airport where Maggie was sure to eat…uhhh, read…. a book about planes before take off
Missing all our friends in DC already – but we’ll be back again soon!
Did Maggie like the way the book tasted ?
Rather than judging a book by it’s cover, Maggie judges by it’s flavor!
