Maggie celebrated her third birthday this week – sadly, she was sick for her actual birthday, but we were able to squeeze in some fun prior to that day to offset.
In the past year, Maggie has developed quite the personality. She is extremely strong willed (I’m sure we’ll appreciate that when she’s an adult and entering the workforce!), but also goofy, loving, and sensitive. She can be the sweetest kid when she wants to be, but also gives us a good run for our money. Her truest colors have shown through with the addition of Graeme to the family – she is quite the caretaker and showers him with love and kisses as much as we allow her!
Highlights from the past year:
- Started dance class and performed in her first recital
- Attended her first wedding
- First performance of the Nutcracker
- Moved to a big girl bed
- Potty trained
- First time bowling (we went for Mommy’s birthday)
- 2 more flights added to her count – to DC and Miami – bringing her total to 7 round trips so far! Not bad for a 3 year old.
We once again celebrated her birthday with the Harringtons/Healeys over the July 4th weekend, and then this past weekend she and Aoife had a joint Fairy themed party with their friends. The rain tried to ruin our plans, but despite having to move the party indoors, lots of fun was had!
